Every streaming catalog hosts a short official preview of each recording, the same clip stores use for hover playback. This tool finds the preview for any released track, plays it in the page and gives you the direct link, which is the quickest way to confirm you are looking at the right version of a song.

What the preview is useful for

The most common use is confirmation. When a catalog contains six entries called the same thing, hearing four seconds of audio settles which recording matches the ISRC in front of you far faster than comparing durations.

It is also handy for reference listening while you research. Checking the mix loudness, the intro length or the arrangement of comparable releases does not require a full stream, and the preview loads instantly.

What you can and cannot do with it

These clips are hosted by the streaming platform and remain the rights holder's property. They are fine for identification and private reference. They are not licensed for use in your own content, in a release, in a video or in any commercial context, and links are time limited by the host, so they are not a download library.

If you need audio you can actually use, license it properly or use your own masters.

    What the result shows

An inline player for the preview clip, the direct audio link, plus the ISRC, label, release date, duration and tempo of the recording so you can identify it precisely.

Results come from Deezer's public catalog and Apple's public album data, so anything commercially released and distributed to streaming should be found. Unreleased tracks, private uploads and releases that never reached streaming will not appear.

    Frequently asked questions

    How long are the previews?+

Around 30 seconds, taken from the point the platform selects, usually a chorus or a representative section rather than the intro.

    Can I download the preview?+

The direct link is shown, but the clip belongs to the rights holder and the URL is time limited by the host. Use it for identification and reference, not for reuse.

No preview appeared for my search. Why?+

Some catalog entries carry no preview, and some are restricted by territory. Try another release of the same recording, for example the album version rather than the single.

Can I use a preview clip in my own video?+

No. Using it commercially or in published content needs a licence from the rights holder, the same as any other recording.
